Graphic Identity for the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art Annual Exhibition
“INSIDE OUT — Saengsaeng Hwahwa 2017”

Since 2013, the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art has been holding The Breath of Fresh as an annual exhibition in the second half of every year, featuring new works of art by visual artists selected for the Art and Culture Promotion and Support Project by the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation. The exhibition INSIDE OUT presents artists’ explorations into the “inside” in their own perspective. The graphic elements were transformed and superimposed on the vanishing point set by the artist’s viewpoint, and these became the graphic identities of the exhibition. 

경기도미술관은 지난 2013년부터 매년 하반기에 경기문화재단의 문예진흥공모지원사업을 통해 선정된 시각예술가들의 신작을 선보이는 연례전으로 ‘생생화화 生生化化’ 전시를 개최한다. 생생화화 2017의 전시 제목인 <이면탐구자 INSIDE OUT>에서 ‘이면’이란, ‘탐구자’의 관점에 의해 다른 각도으로 보이는 어떠한 표면으로 해석할 수 있다. 탐구자의 관점으로 설정된 소실점을 따라 변형된 그래픽을 중첩시켜 이를 메인 아이덴티티로 활용하였다.
